god five tries to create the world because each attempt before the final one had
a problem the gods did not approve of.

Tezcatlipoca who was the first creator created himself into a jaguar and
destroyed the world.
- Another belief was that Quetzalcoatl
was the god that created the humans.
- One belief they were terrified
of was that the people believed that every 52 years the world would end.
AZTEC PRACTICES
- One main practice that the Aztecs
did was human sacrifice.
- Each sacrifice has to be properly planned, from choosing the victim to the type of ceremony they would do depending on what god they were going to worship.
-The sacrifice would be worshiped more depending on what rank the victim was that was being sacrificed.
-During the sacrifice the victim would play the role of the god they were going to worship.
-Before being sacrificed the victim would be fed, given a location to stay and would have to dress a certain way, the process before being sacrificed sometimes lasted up to a year.
-When the day came to actually sacrifice the victim, the victim would take participation in various events during the ceremony that way the victim would be exhausted and not suffer severely during the sacrifice.
-The people that would sacrifice the victim would be 5 priests that would take place at the top of the pyramid. The priests would then cut the victims heart out and shown to everyone.
